Diary Of A Wimpy Kid The Long Haul - Book 9 - By: Jeff Kinney

The book I am reading is Diary Of A Wimpy Kid. It is book nine. Which is called The Long Haul. The main character in my book is Gregory. Everyone calls him Greg. In this book, Greg and his family decided to go on a road trip. When they were going they took their van and put a boat to put stuff in since they didn't want to rent an RV. While they were on the road trip everything was a disaster. They went to a fair which had contests. Gregs younger brother Manny joined this contest where you had to guess the weight of the hog. The prize was a little pig. Manny of course guessed the exact number. Now they had a pig roaming around the car. They had no where to put him but in a cooler.
         Gregs mom decided it was enough driving and they should park and sleep at a motel. When they got in the motel the rooms and everything was moldy and there was stains everywhere. There was a 24 hour cancellation policy so they were stuck their for the night. They kept on going the next day on their road trip. The same thing happened it was all a disaster. This time though they went to a hotel and got rooms. What the hotel didn't know is that they had a pig. There was a fifty dollar fee for no animals. Gregs family also payed extra because that night the pig had gotten into the mini bar fridge. They found a couple of empty bottles. They are now back on the road.

Joey Pigza Loses Control By Jack Gantos

This story, Joey Pigza Loses Control gives me like sad emotions because in the book they said Joey is wired and he is going to meet his dad. Joeys mom and dad are divorced. When Joey is going he keeps asking his mom questions about his dad which make his mom very uncomfortable because of memories. It also makes me feel sad because his mom doesn't want him to meet his dad because Joey asks questions which remind her of the old days when they were together and from what she remembers he is wired which is like crazy I guess and drinks. Joey doesn't want to meet his dad either but it's summer and his mom works from daytime to nighttime so he has nothing to do. This story makes me feel bad because Joey doesn't want to meet his dad but he is doing it because at home he is all bored and does nothing. Also, Joeys mom said she doesn't want him to meet him but it's better for him she said because he said he stopped drinking and stuff like that and he will have something to do over the summer.

Diary Of A Wimpy Kid -Rodrick Rules - By: Jeff Kinney

The book that I am reading is pretty relatable because the main character Greg is in middle school. He has two other brothers, Manny (Smaller Brother) and Rodrick (Older Brother). I have something similar and it makes me feel like I'm him sometimes. Manny gets whatever he wants and gets away with anything which is like my younger brother. The story makes me feel good because Greg deals with much more than me and it makes me feel like I am the main character. 

McMummy Book Blog

When I was reading today I learned about the owner of the greenhouse more and more about the characters.  So there are two boys named Mozie and Robert. They are two friends. They are both taking care of a greenhouse. They have been asked to take care of the green house from the owner. Now, I have learned more because a severely bad storm hit that completely destroyed the greenhouse. There is glass everywhere and it's ruined. When Mozie went to check on the plants and the McMummy pod. The pod was completely empty not destroyed though. All the plants where gone. How is Mozie going to tell the Professor that all of this happened when he is on vacation? 

On Christmas Eve - By ANN M. MARTIN

The book that I am reading is called On Christmas Eve. This book is about a girl. She has multiple friends, one for example is Evvie. She has a dog which is her second best friend Sadie. Her number one best friend is Sarah. They are together every single day and they are 3 miles away and have sleep over very frequently because Sarah's dad is in the hospital and they keep saying he has cancer.  The main character of this book, the girl, now wants to hide at night and see Santa Claus at night. Not only that but she wants to get him a gift for all the gifts he has given her. This is so far what I have read.

McMummy - By Betsy Byars - Exposition

The story I am reading is McMummy by Betsy Byars. This book is about a pod that is in a greenhouse. The owner of the greenhouse left for a week or two for vacation. The plants aren't going to water themselves, so he got two kids named Mozie and Robert.  Mozie is the main character in this book because he has like a small business you could said if him and Robert babysitting. Robert has been grounded so he couldn't go to the greenhouse with Mozie nor can he go and babysit with Mozie. Robert has three sisters, they all hate Mozie because Mozie made a look at his sisters piano recital and Robert burst out laughing. Another character is Miss Tri-County Tech. She was making Mozies mom and dress. She also took Mozie to turn on the sprinklers in the greenhouse. The setting in this book is at the greenhouse, gas station, Roberts house, and Mozies house. Every time Mozie goes to Roberts house or calls them either one of Roberts sisters answer or his mom and they all sound angry when they talk to him.

McMummy By Betsy Byars

The book that I am reading is called "McMummy" by Betsy Byars. By looking at the cover I think it might be about a plant mummy and a little kid. From what I have read I know that there are two friends I guess they were asked to take care of a professors green house. One of the kids named Mozie has discovered a McMummy in the greenhouse and he is suspicious. A kid named Robert couldn't go because his mom wouldn't let him and asked him to stay inside is room. Mozie wouldn't go alone because they were very suspicious about the McMummy. He went to Mrs. Batsons house and begged her to let Robert go with him to the greenhouse but she refused and told him that he had to stay in his room for now.
